9-11am: Novice Trick Workshop One
11am-1pm: In-Person Trick Assessments
1-3pm: Intermediate Trick Workshop
3-5pm: Novice Trick Workshop Two (repeat)
Want to teach your dog some fun new tricks? Strengthen your bond? Maybe even earn an official trick title?
Come along to our Trick Training Workshop! You’ll get hands-on coaching, learn fresh skills, and have the chance to do a title assessment in person – no need for video submissions.
Novice Tricks Workshops ($50)
8 places available per workshop
Please note: Novice Workshop Two is a repeat of Novice Workshop One.
Learn the foundations of trick training: timing of rewards, reward markers, luring, shaping, and targeting. Practice some existing tricks and learn some new ones such as: Target Mat, Sit, Down, Spin, Paws Up, Bow, Prayers, Shake Hands, Hoop Jump, Peekaboo, Figure 8s, Leg Weaves and more!
Intermediate Tricks Workshop ($50)
8 places available
Build on your trick skills with some intermediate level tricks such as: Footsies, Hand Signals, Barrel Racing, Jump Wraps, Jump Through Arms, Mail Carrier, Wave, Skateboard, Play Dead, and Tidy Up Toys. If you are currently working on your Intermediate title and would like some help with specific tricks we can cover these too.
Individual Title Assessments ($15)
4 x 15 min slots, 1 slot per dog, per level
One to one session to have your tricks assessed for the “Do More With Your Dog” trick dog titles – at any level (Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert).
Please note, this does not cover the cost of applying for your title – you will still need to do this at domorewithyourdog.com– but you will not need to submit any videos.
Classes will not run with fewer than 4 people. If demand is high we will run another workshop in November.
